Player Bio:

I have grown up playing every sport imaginable – from racquetball, soccer to even 4 years of boxing. Hockey was the only sport I had never tried because I couldn’t skate. At age 34, I decided that life is too short to let fear stand in your way of anything so I jumped in with both feet. I’ve found a love for the game that will last a lifetime.

I am very honoured to participate in efforts to raise money for a charity that has always been dear to my heart. In 1986 I met Cary, an inspiring young girl fighting CF. She had a fantastic sense of humour through much physical discomfort. She also had a strong to play in a softball game. She asked me to help her accomplish her dream and I gladly did. I learned much more than she learned from me. I will play with that spirit learnt from a courageous young woman.
