Player Bio:
Since childhood, I have possessed a love and passion for team and individual sports: soccer, baseball, rugby and ice-hockey, boxing, martial arts and running. I have been actively involved in them all.
After graduating high school, I gained valuable experience as a loss prevention officer, a regional internal investigator and a Vancouver Police 911 call-taker before returning to school. I am currently pursuing my classics and archaeology degree at UBC where I will begin my fourth year in September.
Balancing education and sport, last summer I completed two months of Canadian Armed Forces basic training at Camp Borden, Ontario. Now I am an accredited, serving member of the Naval Reserve at HMCS Discovery.
Watching the “65 Red Roses” documentary and learning about Eva’s story inspired me to get involved with Cystic Fibrosis awareness and fund-raising. Hearing about the Longest Game for CF event through the 8 Rinks grapevine, I volunteered immediately; what could be better than playing my favourite sport in order to support such an important cause.
I feel extremely privileged to play in this event, to have the opportunity to work with dedicated people committed to making the Longest Game a success.
