Player Bio:

We have all had someone in our lives that have faced health challenges so we can understand the battles that can occur. For my teammate Val Skelly it was her good friend Lucia who she lost to Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Val introduced me to her mission to raise funds and bring awareness to CF by challenging our ice hockey team to play in the Longest Game 4 CF. She also “made” us watch the documentary 65 Red Roses, a story of Eva Markvoort.
Watching the inspirational story of the life of someone with CF made me want to do something, however small, to contribute in the journey to find a cure.

I attended by first Vancouver Canucks game when I was 10 years old and since then hockey has always been a big part of my life. Being part of a TEAM is a great feeling, as we all work together in achieving success.

It is the passion and inspiration Val has in her quest to make CF stand for a Cure Found that has made me want to be part of the Longest Ice Hockey Game.

Please help to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis with your donations, no amount is too small.
Thank you.
