I have always loved sports and I have probably taken for granted the freedom I have had in being able to participate in whatever sports I wanted.  Now every time I step off the ice and am fighting to get my breath back I think about how lucky I am that I do not live with that feeling 24-7.  I want for us to make a difference for people living with CF.  How do we accomplish this?  A cure….

There is no medical genius in me, so obviously I will not be finding a cure for CF myself.  I do however, have a love of doing truly mad things; by participating in this ever so slightly mad idea to play hockey for 10 days non-stop, I will be doing my part to help find a cure.
 

Together we can make a difference; together we can…. play hockey and…. help find a cure.
