Katrina Dauncey

Player Bio:

My name is Katrina Dauncey. I am 20 years old and was born a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis. I have an amazing 23 year old brother named Dustin, who was not as lucky and suffers everyday of his life with a terrible disease called Cystic Fibrosis. Even with this sickness, Dustin continues to be such a positive and loving person. He was diagnosed with CF when he was 2 years old. Dustin takes upwards of 60 pills per day and does physiotherapy to keep his lungs from building up mucus.

I am so excited to be a part of this amazing experience! I have played hockey since I was about 10 years old and my brother Dustin has come to so many of my games to support me. With his amazing support my whole life, it would be crazy not to play in this world record hockey game to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis!

I now ask everyone to please help me out with finding a cure to this awful disease! My family, myself, and all others affected by Cystic Fibrosis greatly appreciate any donations that will help make CF stand for ‘CURE FOUND’
