Player Bio:

Growing up in Canada, the sport that almost every kid wants to play is hockey. I was the same way, and with two older brothers who were already playing, I was ecstatic when it was finally my turn to lace up the skates!

Hockey is a passion that has persisted throughout my life. When I was approached by Val to take part in this event, it seemed like an absolute no-brainer to say yes. It was one question that I was able to answer without taking a minute to think over. In my mind, what could be better than breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest game ever played while raising awareness and funds to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis?

Since committing to this event, I have learned what how truly devastating Cystic Fibrosis can be. My heart goes out to anyone living with it, as well as friends and families who have loved ones with CF. Considerable progress has been made towards treatment over the past few decades, however, our work is far from over. The more money we are able to raise, the closer we’ll get to turning our hope of finding a cure into a reality.

By making a donation, you are helping to find a cure for CF!
